Poem // A Jolly Grinch

A Jolly Grinch

A jolly Grinch once told the finch,
Atop the tree’s trimmed glider,
That when a squirrel doth hide his nuts,
They become him ever fouler.
A Giddy finch once told the Grinch,
Atop the tree’s trimmed glider,
Creatures giving thoughts of nightshade,
Become liars of the decade.
